Cyrus recorded music for the soundtracks, Hannah Montana (2006) and Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), released by Walt Disney Records. With the success of the Hannah Montana franchise she established herself as a teen idol. In 2007, Cyrus signed to Hollywood Records to pursue a solo career. She embarked upon the Best of Both Worlds Tour the same year, in which she performed as both herself and in character as Hannah Montana. The tour was eventually turned into a high-grossing concert film titled Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert (2008). In July 2008, Cyrus released her first solo album, Breakout (2008), which was commercially successful.
Oh, alright, alright, it's a Saturday and apparently I've got no plans. Like crap, I forgot to turn off my alarm and I'm already up at 4am for no real good reason! So what's a guy to do? Why go online shopping of course! (OK that's probably not the first idea you thought of…. In fact that was probably not even near the vicinity of what you would have done… but whatever…. I went online shopping, so shut it!). Geez, why am I still wearing my shoes? Heck, why am I wearing one of my little sister's dresses?! I don't remember getting wasted last night!
Anyways, so I got up, opened my trusty laptop and browsed around for stuff to buy online. I wasn't really planning on doing any online shopping but boy was I being random and bored. So now I had this completely spontaneous thing I wanted to do, but didn't quite think it through, as you might expect. Like what the heck was I supposed to shop for? Hmmm.. How about some fine dresses for my girlfriend? Yeah that sounds like a good idea, she'd be all happy and might be inclined to give me a personal fashion show if you know what I mean. She'd be slipping on lots of nice dresses and strutting around with sexy shoes. Then again, it's nowhere near her birthday or any special occasion, and I don't want her to expect getting gifts all the time and spoil her --- so yeah screw that idea.
Hmmm, online shopping…. Let's see --- watches? They're pretty cool but, personally, phones already have clocks, so watches seem redundant nowadays unless it's for fashion purposes. Bags? I just bought 2 bags, both of which I rarely use because I don't really go out of town or workout or have any real practical purpose for owning one, let alone 2 (Which makes me wonder how my girlfriend can own tons of bags. Girls' fashion escapes my little brain, I guess) Phones? Nah I'm too lazy to read all that nerdy tech stuff and make my brain hurt and I'm not some airhead douche who just wants to look in fashion with the newest phone but have no clue how to even use it. Oh yeah, dresses for my Girlfriend! Oh wait, I thought of that already, no way, screw that again.

The music video and lyrics of the album's lead single, "Can't Be Tamed", portrays a more sexualized image for the entertainer. Cyrus ranked number thirteen on Forbes' 2010 Celebrity 100. In April 2011, Cyrus was named the 64th hottest woman in the world on Maxim's Hot 100. In May 2011, Cyrus was also named the 89th sexiest woman in the world on FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the world. For the 2011 Guinness book of world records, she was named the “Most Charted Teenager” following her 29th US Billboard Hot 100 chart entry on November 7, 2009 with “Party in the USA.”
